3 slots:

§         CPU slot is dedicated

§         2 universal slots (except SLIT16)

Rack 2

6 slots:

§         CPU slot is dedicated

§         5 universal slots

Rack 3

9 slots:

§         CPU slot is dedicated

§         4 universal slots

§         The 4 slots enclosed accept all the boards except UAI16 and MIX board.

The CPU of the main module manages the other modules. There is only one CPU per system.

The system can be expanded by aAdding up to 2 modulesadditional racks can expand the system.

Any combination is possible .

e.g. Rack 3+ Rack 2 , or

            Rack 2+ Rack 1 or…
